  • CognitiveTherapy :Therapy for anxiety and other mood disorders that helps clients overcome dysfunctional thinking, core beliefs, emotions or behaviour.
  • Behavioural TherapyTherapy for anxiety and other mood disorders that uses observation and interventions directed towards altering problem behaviours, rather than the thoughts behind them.
  • Breathing Exercises :Techniques which use an increased focus on breathing to gain self-awareness and perspective to relieve stress or anxiety.
  • Sympathetic Nervous System :A portion of the body which controls energy generation.
  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder :A disorder in which people generally experience excessive amounts of worry and anxiety which is not focused upon any one aspect of their lives.
  • Dysfunctional : Impairment to behaviour, relationship, or feelings that prevents healthy functioning.
