- Volunteering : Having a life where you can use your signature strengths to do pleasurable and engaging activities for something that serves a greater purpose other than for your own self interests.
- Flow : Being fully engaged in activities that bring you pleasure.
- Spirituality : The meaning you find in your life by connecting to goals greater than yourself through altruistic activities. Religious practice is an expression of spirituality.
- Strengths : In positive psychology, strengths are internal capabilities that you have at your disposal to act on the Six Virtues in everyday life, which can bring you greater positivity.
- Six Virtues : Core characteristics within humans that are universally valued; they include wisdom, courage, humanity, justice, temperance, and transcendency.
- Gratitude : A feeling of gratefulness or being thankful of benefits you have received, and appreciating what you have.
- Savouring : Being able to feel, focus on and enjoy pleasurable moments.
- Post-traumatic growth : Experiencing the growth and strengthening after facing adversity.
